Hi Maangchi! I was wondering if you could make a demo on how to make steamed red bean buns. Please and thank you! ^^
I’m sure Maangchi has a homemade way of making the dough and the sweet red beans, but here is a shortcut way for now! :)
A shortcut to making the steamed red bean buns is using the Pillsbury Grand Biscuits. Shape the dough by putting your thumb in the middle and put a small spoonful of the sweetened red bean into it. Then close up the dough with your fingers. Steam away! I’ve also baked them in the oven before and it comes out delicious!
