      Hello. I went to my local Korean grocer for rice syrup, but they don’t carry it. They suggested I buy cooking syrup with honey. I’m not exactly sure what this is because I don’t read Korean. The store owner said it is similar to rice syrup but healthier. Do you know about cooking syrup with honey and if it is equivalent to rice syrup? Thank you.

      Sounds like corn syrup with a little honey.

      I use organic blue agave nectar as a substitute although it doesn’t taste like honey.
