I was searching on your site for additional Korean root vegetable recipes. I am very interested in the Lotus root, Doraji, or Gosari? My mother n law has made me the eggplant and summer squash dishes but recently I tasted something good and I don’t know what it was. I am assuming its the lotus root since the radish looked like a flower. Thanks for your consideration.

If you buy dried kosari, you can prepare it this way before cooking
Place kosari in cold water in a pot. 1 cup of kosari will need more than 20 cups of water.
Boil it for 30 minutes and don’t drain hot water and let it soak for 8 hours. I usually boil it at night and drain it next morning.
Lotus root (yeongeun jorim) and doraji (bell flower root) dish will be posted in the future.
