      I made salty squid last Sunday in anticipation of making kimchi today, but I will not have time to make it. How long will the salty squid last? A week? I’m hoping to make kimchi next Saturday or Sunday.

      Yes, you can use the squid when you make your kimchi next weekend. In the mean time, keep the squid in the fridge. No problem.
