Hi Maangchi! I love this dish and had it twice in Korea on my trip. It is spicy and similar to curry texture without the curry taste. It contains chicken, carrots, and potatoes. I don’t know the name of it due to my poor Korean, and I cannot find it at the Korean restaurants in my hometown.
Can you please tell me what this dish is called and if you have not already made a video for it, I would love to watch and learn! Thank you.

My friend in Korea lives in the country-side. When I last visited her, she and her husband took me to a little family-owned restaurant on a mountain road that was known to the locals for this … spicy chicken stew. I think that might be the only dish they serve. The whole chicken is in the stew … and it was spicy and so delicious. I also learned to enjoy whole, fresh, hot, Korean green peppers as a side dish. Spicy chicken stew … crunch crunch crunch fresh pepper, spicy chicken stew, crunch crunch crunch fresh pepper …
Is that a little bottle of soju I see on the left? Yup, that is the way we did it, too!
Maangchi — I second the recipe request for a spicy chicken stew dish!!! … please.
