“What are "Red Beans"?”

    Hi I live in New Zealand and I have no idea what red beans are. Are they the same thing as kidney beans? I hope someone can help me, I cant wait to make some rice cakes!

    They're called "azuki beans" according to Wikipedia. They're smaller and rounder than kidney beans. I don't think the taste is the same either, but I don't eat them that often.
