I love peppers. I have cooked for many years, but never found a flavor as addictive as Gochugaru. It’s like it has a special pathway to the pleasure center of my brain. I’ve never craved a flavor as intensely as this in my entire life. And I do not think I am alone in this….
What is special about Gochugaru? What plant does it come from? How is it prepared to get that amazing smokey flavor?
