Date: June 27, 2009 Time: 2pm – 4:30pm
Location: 306 West 51st street, suite B1, New York City (map)
Price: $70

Class registration is closed.

The class is limited to 12 people and the cost includes all materials and ingredients. I’m going to provide you with everything you need to make:

  1. Stirfried dried anchovy side dish (“myulchibokkeum“)
A sidedish made of small dried anchovies,  green chili pepper, and nuts.
  2. Stirfried dried squid strips (“ojinguhchae bokkeum”)
The popular Korean lunchtime sidedish made of very thinly shredded dried squid.
  3. Cucumber kimchi (“oi sobagi”)
Spicy kimchi made by cutting a cucumber into a pocket and stuffing it with vegetables and kimchi paste.

And I’ll show you step by step how to make them. You’ll follow along and do it yourself. When you’re done, you’re going to have 3 side dishes to bring home and put in the refrigerator and eat whenever you want.

This would be a great class you take if you have a busy life but want to learn a few dishes hands on. Then you will also have some food in your house afterwards to eat for dinner or lunchboxes. So bring some tupperware to take food home!
