3. How often do you cook Korean food following my recipes?
Since I found Maangchi.com, I’ve been making Korean food everyday or every other day!

5. What’s your best Korean dish, the one that everybody compliments you on when you make it?
The dish that everyone compliments me on is my kimchi. I think it’s because most people have never tasted homemade kimchi before.

It’s beautiful to feel close to your mom. What a lovely family you have.

The kimchi in a crock is making my mouth water, mmmm…

    Aloha Andrea!
It’s so nice to see another Korean foodie from Hawaii. You are right, most people have never had homemade kimchi, including some Koreans. They are shocked that I make it too–with Maangchi’s recipe, of course!

thank you! whenever i make korean food i feel like i need to thank my mom for making it even though I made it! it’s nice because it makes me feel like my mom is with me; she lives in the mainland though. i’d take more pictures of my food but most of the time i’m so busy cooking and eating i don’t even think about taking pictures!
