This time our Korean Food Fan is Talitha Wark in Tacoma, WA USA!

She used to live in Korea and fell in love with Korean food while she lived there. She sent me a message on Facebook with the stunning photo below, and said that my recipes are helping her recreate the food she loved in Korea. Check out the small radish, beautifully prepared, and the garlic, everything set and ready!

Talitha your Cucumber Kimchi (banchan) looks so good. We’re from Hawaii, live in Renton, WA, and we absolutely love Korean food. We usually treat ourselves to a Korean food lunch at least once a month (Mirak in Federal Way).

I love to experiment making my own Korean dishes too and usually shop at H-Mart (Federal Way, WA) for my ingredients. I’m hooked on Soon Du Bu (sp?). I could eat it every week.

Trying to find a recipe for the Korean style Potato Salad. At Mirak’s, theirs is semi-mashed and has a sweet taste. Any recipes or ideas?
