"Hello Maangchi, A few days ago I made my first Doenjang, especially for this occasion I've bought an earthenware crock, but it seems to be low-quality one. There are some crack-looking salt residues, caused because stoneware soaks water, which evaporates from the surface and makes such mosaic. Do you think its still gonna work? thanks, Arek"
