"Hi Maangchi! I’ve been reading all your korean recipes and decided to make the Napa Cabbage Kimchi. It turned out great except for one thing, my paste has a bitter after taste. Is that normal for freshly made kimchi? I used our local radish here in the Philippines instead of the Korean radish or Daikon since it was not available here."
