"I think that would be an awesome addition! I would make my noodles and then scoop and pour all over my yummy soup! My saliva glands are activated right now!LOL!"

"Love your recipe! My son also gave it a try. He said it was a bit spicy. But, he still ate my "stew". This is the first time I added peppers. There wasn't the type of peppers you used, so I bought Serrano peppers. I just added 4 small slices, and I could feel that different heat. Wow. Thanks Maangchi!"

"Hi! Finally gave it a go on your yummy recipe. BUT, I didn't have gochujang (I forgot to buy).... I went to see if there was a substitute. There was with chili flakes, soy sauce and sugar. I ended up trying to figure out a recipe and then added some doenjang; to make it thicker paste. It came out alright. But still, gochujang would have made it better. Do you have an emergency substitute for gochujang?"

"Hi Maangchi! I am planning to make this recipe for thanksgiving lunch potluck. Going to make a pumpkin filling and/or cinnamon-brown sugar filling. Is there a way to keep and serve these hot? I was thinking of asking to use the oven and keeping these on like 200 degrees in a foil pan. Until ready to "serve". Any recommendations? Or should i just take something else?"

"Hi Maangchi!!! I finally made your japchae, and it tastes wonderful! My folks love it and so does my picky little one. Telling them that everything pretty much was cooked separately. My mom said she loves this because its not too strong and the vegetables taste so light and fresh. I wish i could send you the picture of my japchae. Somehow, it won't upload...oh well. Just wanted to send you an extra thank you because you've helped me get closer to my "roots" by means of cooking! Love you and THANK YOU!"
