"Dear Maangchi, even if I a do not post here very often, I am big fan of you and have tried at least 2/3 of your recipes... Gogumabap is one of my favorites, and today I really was hungry for a dish of warm gogumabap... Unfortunately, I had no sweet potatoes at home and could not get any at the supermarket nor at the asian store... Since I had butternut squash at home I decide to give it a try... So, instead of sweet potato, butternut squash... Great variation of this dish :-) try it!"

"Very nice! Thanks for the recipe... I love Heukimjajuk, but normally get the instant version of it, which tastes different to what my Korean friends made in Germany. Just curious to see that you do not add sugar! I have always had as a sweet porridge in winter!"

"Oh yeah... Really excited :-) I thought there were no Asian shops around here... It is very nice, but unfortunately do not have many Korean and Japanese products..."

"My Korean friends in Germany used "sweet potatoes vermicelli" for their Jobchae... Are this the same noodles? I ask because I had never found SPV anymore since I left Germany and has been using Mung Bean Noodles for my Jobchae all this time... but yesterday I visited a "(for me) newly discovered" Asian shop near my new residence in France and voila there I have SPV again... :-)"

"Maanghi, this looks fantastic! Thanks a lot for this quicker recipe! I use to make your whole cabbage Kimchi on a regular basis since more than 3 years now (I just love it and it is very similar to the one made by a korean friend in Germany - silly me, I never learned to make kimchi with her, but I learned many other recipes!). Sometimes I skip the making of a new batch of kimchi due to lack of time, but this "new" recipe would be perfect for those days... Tipp: my recipe for lazy dinner (Korea meets France meets Southamerica meets Germamy Dinner) when I am alone at home (my partner does not et spicy!): make an omelette (french style) filled with chopped kimchi, sweetcorn (canned) and fresh coriander leave... As you say "Delicious!" sometimes I eatit with rice, and always with a glassof good beer... The perfect match..."

"Great! I need to try this one! I make a similar soup I learned from a vietnamese friend. Basically the same but using shitakii instead of jujubes and gingseng.... a very nice way to surprise your friend, who will end up "eating soup" with chopsticks :)"

"Toto, you can find the dried persimons either at asian markets, or (sometimes) at the turkish market... or at Galerias Horten (but VERY expensive!)... that's where I used to buy them in Germany..."

"OMG!! Thanks a lot! You cannot imagine how long I have been looking for a Kimchi recipe that really tastes like the Kimchi I used to eat with my Korean friends in Germany. I tried yours and WOW! That's it!! Thanks!! In Germany, I used to buy Kimchi at a Korean shop near my home, but I cannot find anything similar here in Switzerland... P.S.- I love your videos in Youtube... next recipes I will try.. Mul Mandu und Kimbap! :)"
