I also lived in Columbia and went to MU for graduate school, so I thought that was very neat when I read it in your book introduction, and when you mentioned it in the video. I grew up near Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, and there were several Korean ladies who went to my parent's church. When I was a child they would bring mandu and japchae to church pot-luck dinners, and what my father liked most of all, kimchi! The ladies taught him how to make it, and now I do too."

"I second BelaCooks's question: How would you steam the pancakes? Use less oil and then put some water in and put a lid on top really quick, like pot-stickers? or on a plate in a traditional steamer? I love your videos! They help my family and I eat more vegetables."

"We made this tonight! I used boneless skinless chicken thighs. I reserved some of the marinade to use as additional sauce after (so it wouldn't get chicken-y), and it was delicious on anything we put it on. We also made your quick bulgogi recipe, and shredded zucchini pancakes. I wish I had remembered to take a picture before everyone dug in. I love making Korean food at home, even though it's sometimes challenging with a soy allergy in the house. Thank you for making Korean food so accessible. ;)"
