These are my rice cakes. Just a few, short pieces. This recipe took me the longest to make. And you won’t believe what I had to use as a pestle. But I believe in the old military mantra of Adapt, Improve & Overcome.
Which to get? my first book has all the recipes for all the essential Korean pastes and sauces, but my second book Maangchi's Big Book of Korean Cooking has more recipes. Both are best sellers and either one is a good choice if you want to learn Korean home cooking.
“Old military SAYING” is the same thing. It should have read, “Adapt, ImprovISE & Overcome.” Thanks.
Can I ask you what you used as a pestle? : )
It’s a brand new, unwrapped, child’s T-Ball bat.
