Hotteok (pancake) stuffed with cheese, garlic and onions

I have a savory tooth so I stuffed my hotteok with shredded cheese, garlic, and green onions and a tsp of sugar. Maangchi’s dough for hotteok is sticky but the way she demonstrates it in the video is so very helpful!! Definitely have a bowl of oil for your hands and a spoon ready for your fillings. This was my first time making hotteok! Maangchi… after watching your videos, you make me feel very brave, and I feel ready to dive head first into making your recipes. You explain everything so well! You know that saying “grab a bull by its horns”? Well, I grabbed the sticky dough by its balls (LOL) and made some hotteok! It is so good – chewy, a little crispy on the surface, and tasty!

    Oh, Miss Maangchi – I actually watched your Yachae Hotteok video when I made mine. I noticed in the original Hotteok video you place the dough on a floured surface. The Yachae Hotteok video was made with oiled up hands. :)
