I grew up eating Korean food but I never learned how to make it because my mom was the one who always cooked for us. Now that I have a family of my own, I’ve become interested in cooking Korean foods. I always thought that cooking Korean food took a lot of steps and hard to make. But Maangchi makes it so easy AND everything I make with her recipes does not disappoint. It tastes like my mom’s cooking!

I’ve always been intimidated with frying food (had an incident looong time ago where my fried food came out soggy and never attempted to make fried foods since then). When I saw Maangchi’s video, it looked so delicious! And when she was eating it?? I just had to try out this recipe! Not only did the chicken come out crunchy, the dish was super tasty. There were so many delicious complex flavors and I could not believe that I was able to make a dish of that caliber. Seriously… if you have not tried out this recipe, go and get the ingredients now!
