It's cold outside, where are my beans???

Azuki bean sweet soup (hong dou tang) is something my mother-in-law introduced me to many years ago. When we were snowed in, she would make the soup for breakfast with toast – she said it would give us energy to go shovel the snow :) I made your version for her – similar, but without the bean skins. It was a lot of fun to make and very delicious!
