Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup)

Made samgyetang for the first time, and it was way more simple than I thought!! Not to mention so much cheaper and SO much more delicious than what I had at a restaurant a while back. We picked the chickens clean and drank every last drop of the soup. The two dipping sauces were great, with my boyfriend preferring the soy sauce one and I preferring the sesame one. You can also see here the kkakdugi (radish kimchi) I made from Maanghi’s recipe! It went great with the soup, and we ate much more of it than the store-bought napa cabbage kimchi, also on the table.

    Perfect! Yes, I see your homemade kkakdugi, kimchi, and dipping sauce along with fantastic looking samgyetang. The broth looks lightly milky and well cooked soft tender chicken is carrying fresh chopped green onion plus jujube! : ) You made this for the first time!
