Kim’s Asian Market has been shut down for a couple of months now due to some issues. The Korean market I go to now is on 462 Troy schenectady road called Jang Tuh. I’ll put this on the site.
They have a bunch of Korean appliances, but I don’t know if they have clay or stone bowls. And I thought Daikon/Moo was Korean radish.

This is a very good Asian market, however they do not carry Korean Radish, and no Korean cooking tools, no clay pots or bulgogi grills. Kims Market farther up on Central Avenue was the only authentic Korean market in Albany. I went there last week 2/22/2011 and they seem to be closed :( I tried 4 other Asian markets in Albany, no Korean radish!! You can use daikon, however the taste is more like an American red radish. I make radish kimchi and using daikon in it it doesn’t turn out as well. (sigh) The search goes on, I may have to range out farther, or convince a NYC friend to get me my Korean radish and bring it up.
