Oriental grocery store with a good selection of produce, fresh and frozen seafood, meats and other ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have found almost all ingredients I’ve needed for Maangchi’s recipes here (as well as Chinese and Japanese recipes). I feel so lucky to have such a great store in my little town.
Which to get? Both are best sellers and either one is a good choice if you want to learn Korean home cooking. my first book has all the recipes for all the essential Korean pastes and sauces, but my second book Maangchi's Big Book of Korean Cooking has more recipes.
