Maangchi's cookbooks

Which to get? I suggest my second book, Maangchi's Big Book of Korean Cooking because it has the most recipes, but my first book has recipes for all the essential Korean pastes and sauces!

Under new management now (Korean).
Pity; we really liked the former owners. Let’s just hope the new ones keep the diversity of the assortment, the fair prices and the quality of their food – they kept one Vietnamese employee at least, the Vietnamese food was excellent and we would miss it!
OMG!
I knew you were famous in Korea – but since I posted that recommendation, they are flooded by Korean customers. They are happy, we are happy – Thank you, Maangchi!
Bye, Sanne.
Oh my, really? I’m so happy to hear that!
If they send me some photos I will put them on my website here (under the Google street view photo and map).
Thanks to you, people found the store and can go shopping!
Hi Maangchi!
There are several stores/restaurants at that location which is pretty confusing.
And at the exact same location was at least one other Asian store over the last year.
That photo is =not= of the interior of the store, but the restaurant “Yanyou” next door!
It’s quite nice (but not a store. :-) http://www.yanyou.de/
Even worse: That’s how it used to look when there was an Italian restaurant named “Giuseppe”until a few months ago to complete the confusion. ;-)
Therefore: Please remove that outdated photo, I’ll provide a correct one within the next few days (I already spoke to the owners of “Koreanisch-Vietnamesische Ecke”, they are happy).
Bye, Sanne.
Hi Sanne –
The photo is actually coming from Google Streetview and is on Google Maps – my website just embeds it from there. So maybe they should update the photo there, if they can?
