Small but packed! This store has a combination of ingredients from different parts of Asia including China, Japan, Thailand, and Korea. There are dried ingredients, sauces/ oils, spices, teas, noodles, lots of laver and mushrooms, frozen seafood and meat as well as frozen dumplings and buns, fresh ingredients (only place with daikon near me), and of course yummy snacks and ramen. While there are many Chinese groceries near me this is the only place I can find Korean products like gochugaru (Korean hot pepper flakes), fish cakes, rice cakes, gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste), etc. The selection of Korean ingredients is small, but there are enough of the basics to make many of Maangchi’s recipes.

Which to get? Both are best sellers and either one is a good choice if you want to learn Korean home cooking.
