Which to get? my first book has all the recipes for all the essential Korean pastes and sauces, but my second book Maangchi's Big Book of Korean Cooking has more recipes. Both are best sellers and either one is a good choice if you want to learn Korean home cooking.

I had the pleasure of visiting Seoul Supermarket this past Monday. I was so excited, because I have not had the ability to visit a Korean market in a very long time. They had SO MUCH fresh produce, seafood, kimchi, snacks, and so much more. You will not be disappointed in the selection. You could tell it was a very popular store due to the amount of customers. And the proprietors were super nice. I am looking forward to returning (with a shopping list this time) in August when we visit Lexington again.
