Just came to the area this summer, was pleased to find many of the staples that you use (not necessarily exact brands) but definitely satisfactory. The owner is even going to order some rice syrup. They carry the Wang brand which is very helpful. The store is nice and neat, good parking, in a good area.
Which to get? Both are best sellers and either one is a good choice if you want to learn Korean home cooking. my first book has all the recipes for all the essential Korean pastes and sauces, but my second book Maangchi's Big Book of Korean Cooking has more recipes.
