  Anyong!!! hi im Bambi a Filipina/Japanese working as an Architectural Consultant in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  My interest in Korean food started out when i started to watch Korean TV drama series.
  I tried to search the internet for Korean recipes and i ended up finding Maangchi’s TV show in youtube until I ended up here in her website.
  There are a few Korean stores here in Bahrain and so far i know only one restaurant called Arrirang Restaurant which is located in Exhibition Road. The price of the food in this Korean restaurant is a little bit expensive. So rather buying food out of a restaurant I would rather learn how to make Korean food by myself. This will be the start of a very interesting and productive hobby.
  I’m looking forward to a very fruitful relationship with Miss Maangchi. Thank you very much and more power to you Ms Maangchi..

  Hi Bambi.. I am based here in Bahrain too.. where i can find a korean stores to buy some ingredients.. I love korean foods as my mom always cook a korean dish so i have some recipe i got from my mom back in the philippines.. but i couldn’t find any korean store here in bahrain.. but i know the arirang restaurant in exhibition road… Thanks

  hi…there is a market called hanaro market you can find it on google map…i always go there if i needed korean ingredients

  My name is Lucrecia, I’m from Argentina (my English is not good, I’m sorry if I’m wrong)
  Like some of you, I was looking for Korean recipes and I found Maangchi videos. I made Kimchi and Japche, both delicious and really easy to do (Maangchi you are a great teacher). RIQUISIMO =)
  Last week I discovered a Korean store, the lady at the cash register looked at me and said: “Is that for you?” and I look at her and say “Yes, I’m doing kimchi”, she looked at me and smiled. (I think he was one of his only non-Korean clients … hehehe)
