Carrot in kimchi?

  Hey I am going to make kimchi but forgot to buy carrot and green onion. There isnt any korean radish or daikon in my store so i wasnt going to use it in the first place, but i was wondering, can i make kimchi with just the cabbage? Or do i really need carrot and onion? I have all other things just not carrot, onion and radish. Will it still work?

    Ended up going and buying carrots and green onion anyway. Worked fine, sorry I coulnd’t answer your question though

  Yes, you can make kimchi with just cabbage if you don’t have carrots and daikon.
