Doenjang v. Miso

I was wondering if doenjang and miso were the same. Before posting, I think I found the response already posted elsewhere on the blog. Thanks, all. I’m the father-in-law to a beautiful Korean woman who has brought this cuisine into my life. I tend to be vegetarian, when not vegan, but periodically will succumb to KBBQ, short ribs and pork belly.
