Does anyone have a Kampungi Recipe

About 14 years ago when I was in the U.S. Air Force stationed at McChord AFB, WA. I was dating a local Korean girl from Spanaway. We hit it off great and had a wonderful 4 year relationship. While together I would eat at her Mother and Father’s home and my favorite dish her Mother would prepare was Kampungi Chicken Wings…… OMG…. I loved those wings. Sometimes I would go with them as a family to this Chinese restaurant called the Royal Box. They served the wings there as well. The story was the only way you can get these wings at a restaurant is to go to a Chinese restaurant owned by Koreans. It was said that Kampungi was not a Korean dish but Chinese, however every Chinese restaurant I have ever been to never sold Kampungi, only Korean owned Chinese Restaurants. I can’t find a recipe anywhere for Kampungi. Does anyone know of or how to get the recipe for these delicious, spicy, sweet, chicken wings.
