      Hello!

I’m happy to be a long-time user of this site and love it. I live in El Cerrito, which is in the East Bay across from San Francisco, I grew up in what is now the Korean part of Flushing, Queens, and wish I was back there again to have all the great food!

I have been making kimchi and other ferments for years, and am happy to be using some of the newer containers, like the e-Jen, but today I was at Koreana Plaza, the Korean food market mecca of the San Francisco Bay Area, and picked up a Roichen vacuum container with charcoal filter.

There’s no English translation, and I cannot translate any of the information given on the company’s website.

It looks like you actually wind up submerging the charcoal filter and it acts as an air lock.

Would someone who reads Korean please have a look and let me know if this is the case? I am confused as to how to use this.

      Thanks, and here’s the item:
