Hi Maangchi,
My name is Nat and I have been a big fan from you for long time!!! Big thanks to the recipes on your YouTube channel and the cookbook, I’ve been able to cook and craved for Korean food with my friends while study abroad in the UK!
Recently I visited Seoul and found a place called Myeondong GyoJa where they serve a very garlicky, salty and appetising Kimchi alongside the dumplings. I have never tried any similar Kimchi ever and there are only few Korean recipes out there. (Which one of it is listed down below)
From my limited Korean, I understand that there are fresh red peppers involved in that recipe but not sure what type of red pepper should be used. Also the amount of other ingredients like fish sauce are not listed.
One more smalle question: Is there any other ingredient that can replace scrimp paste ? I know there are some Hong Kong style scrimp paste, could I used them instead ?
I really like this Kimchi a lot and it would be perfect to serve it with noodles. <3 People who really adore spicy food should love it ! Hopefully you can help with this recipe!!!
Cheers,
Nat
