Hello all! Quick question – I picked up a tabletop butane burner at H Mart today, but everything on the burner says DO NOT use inside. I’ve seen Maangchi do it before and other youtubers, and I know it’s a popular thing as H Mart had tons of these/people buying butane. Anything I need to know to make sure I’m being safe/any reason I shouldn’t use it inside?
Thanks!
The butane burner works on the same principle as a gas range in your kitchen: as long as you keep it away feom flammable items(table cloth, napkins, etc.) and use it on a table or a kitchen counter it should be fine. Just make sure you have enough ventilation for the smoke if you plan to Bbq with the attachment they sell at H Mart and other Korean markets. Otherwise your smoke detectors will most likely be going off. Oh, one last thing, make sure you put water in the bottom rink of the Bbq attachment.
