      Hi everybody,
      I live in VT and I went to this Asian market to buy gochugaru flakes to make kimchi. The person who helped me did not have a very friendly attitude and I stopped asking questions after a while, so I’m not sure if what I bought is indeed the pepper flakes I want. Although I recognize some Korean alphabet, I cannot be sure. Also it’s made in China as I later discovered. Could someone confirm that this is the pepper I need? I attach a picture. Many thanks,

      Yes, you bought right one! You can make kimchi and add it to side dishes to any of my recipes.

      Yes, i use that brand often but it is rather salty. Other brand have less salt but the Assi pepper flakes have a good flavor.
