  Hello everyone!
  I’m new here and I wanted to ask all of you if gochujang is spicy or not? My sister told me that it’s not and it would be a good substitute to pepper paste and pepper flakes but I don’t know. I’ve always wanted to try and cook some Korean recipes but my family members are really really bad when it comes to spice.

  You can buy gochujang in different spicy levels. Its often listed right on the tub. Milder ones are also sometimes sweeter too.
