Hello from Colorado

I am researching Korean culture and came across Maangchi’s recipes on YouTube. I lived in Seoul 2008-2010 and I love Korean food. That is nothing new, my appreciation of Korean cuisine goes back to the 1980’s when a Korean friend first cooked bulgogi and mandu for me. She also prepared kimchi which I absolutely love! I was in my element when I lived in Itaewon and had quick access to wonderful food from around the world. My favorite were the typical Korean restaurants that I frequented so often. I really want to visit Korea Town in L.A. one day. I was told the food is even better than what I found in Seoul. Now how can that be true?
