Hello From Dallas!

Hello, all!

I’m Chris, from Dallas, TX., and I love how bold, savory, and deep Korean food and its flavors are. I stumbled upon Maangchi’s video for making tongbaechu-kimchi when I got it into my head to attempt making kimchi again recently–and after years of trying and failing, I finally got it right, thanks to her! I’ve been watching all her videos since then and have been hugely enjoying them.

As for me, I love Asian food in general as well as Korean, I love music (yes, including K-pop), reading, tokusatsu, miniatures painting, gaming, writing, and I am a major raging Godzilla nut as well. Someday I dream of going to both Japan and Korea, too! I look forward to learning more from Maangchi’s videos and to making friends on here, maybe, as well!
