Hello from Minneapolis

I’m Lorri from Minneapolis. I’m a Korean adoptee and I love food and cooking in general and especially Korean food! My family learned how to make some Korean dishes from a Korean woman at the adoption agency a long time ago–jahp chae, bulgoki, mandu. We didn’t learn any chigae, though, which are my favorite!

Our Korean restaurants here are not that great, so I’m so glad I have learned from Maangchi how to cook it at home! I also made kimchi based on Maangchi’s video and it’s really tasty!

I guess Korean food always seems special to me because when I was young, we only made it on special occasions. :)
