I bought it in Germany from the Farmers Hearth brand. It was a Korean packaging but on the back it said. Origin: China cayenne pepper. Is this even the right chili variety? Anyway it smells good but has no heat at all. I tried a teaspoon straight. I mixed in other chili powder to have any heat in the final product. The Spanish and Hungarian paprika powder one can buy here is hotter and has the same red color but costs five times as much.
