I wanted to try to make jellyfish salad but I’m having difficulty finding jellyfish. I don’t know where to look for it at my Hmart and its next to immpossible to find online. :) Anywone have any suggestions? thanks

thanks! I had another question though (or maybe two :) Do they sell it dried? Or does it need to be fresh to make the salad? I’m assuming if its fresh it would be with the seafood section? :)

Jellyfish is sold in little square packets near the kimchi seaweed noodle area of Hmarts and Assi Plaza

The big thing about jellyfish is that it’s earthen-color, so think like a slightly dark honey color….I tend to find it in the dried/cured seafood section (say, near dried shrimp).
The jellyfish is packed in brine, so to eliminate the saltiness, it’s best to wash it out and squeeze the excess liquid as well. Hmmm….chewy jellyfish!
