Hye everyone, I’ve made kimchi a few times already.. I think it has been more than five times I’ve made my kimchi. But i stopped for a while due to living in a hostel 😅😅. Anyways i want to ask why is my kimchi never as red as the one i bought in stores or see online. I buy my red chili flakes at my grocery stores. Is there any difference to korean produced flakes and Malaysian produced flakes? Is there any ways for me to make it red. Currently the colors I’ve been getting is orangy/browninsh/yellow like in the picture. Thank you in advance!
