I made Kimchi last Sunday and the fermentation process was going well and today I forgot to press my kimchi to release the juice from the vegetable, I opened it and it was really dry and has like white dust on top of it. i tried to press it to release the juice but it didn’t work and i smelled it , it was not that good so i dumped it in the trash.
WHAT HAPPENED TO MY KIMCHI?!
The white dust is probably the start of mold.
how long can you keep left over kimchi paste in the frig and still use it to make another small patch of kimchi?
I freeze left over paste.
