Hi.
Im severly allergic to both fish and shellfish.
Currently I want to make kimchi and was wondering if that is possible without the fish sauce.
Vegan kimchi, of course you can. Just follow the recipe without the fish sauce. You can ad soy sauce or liquid aminos instead. I do that all the time and it taste great.
Hi! I make my kimchi by substituting the fish sauce with salt and soy sauce, using half the amount (for example, substitute 1/2 cup fish sauce with 1/4 cup salt and 1/4 cup soy sauce). This works wonders!
