I couldn’t help it. They were on sale, and I bought a box. Please, any suggestions on storing Korean pears? Can I slice and freeze some for later use in marinades or other recipes? I don’t own a dehydrator. Thanks!!!!!
Korean pears are generally consumed in late fall and winter. To store, Koreans keep them in large baskets, without letting each pear touching another, in a dark and cool place such as cellar. This way you’ll enjoy the crispy, sweet and juicy pears in cool weather. Depending on where you live, garage might work but the temperature might be fluctuating, which will affect your pears. Good luck
Thank you, Suzanne! Today we’re having LA Galbi! Can’t wait. Blessings!
