Hello All,
I LOVE Maangchi and have been diligently cooking recipes from her YouTube videos. I went and tried to buy the Korean Soysauce brand that she is recommending in her video but was taken aback because there is MSG in it besides many other ingredients. So, I went back to Japanese soysauce. Now my question. Does anybody know of a Korean soysauce that’s without MSG that is still good? They didn’t have any at the only grocery store in my area. Thank you for your help!

Do you mean jin-ganjang Sempio soy sauce in the red bottle? It doesn’t have MSG.

Sorry! I meant Sucralose and other artificial ingredients like high-fructose cornsyrup.

Try San-j Tamari. No wheat, no sugar and no additives besides a little alcohol.
LEE KUM KEE DOUBLE FERMENTED SOY SAUCE is also excellent but it has wheat and sugar added. No preservatives though or artificial colors. Its my personal favorite soy sauce.
Kikkoman has a couple that are worth trying. They have an organic, gluten free soy and a good reduced sodium Tamari. I normaly dot recommend Kikkoman but their gluten free and reduced sodium tamari are very good.

Forgot to mention Sempio (Korean) has several with no sugar or preservatives added. They also have an organic.
