      Hi there,

I’m a little confused on whether to convert the measurements on here. Do you use US cup measurements or Metric up measurements? i.e. Does your cup have 250ml or 237mls of volume?

I love your recipes and I want to make sure that I’m accurate with my measurements for delicious cooking!

      Thanks :)

There is a conversion table on each and every of Maangchi’s recipe sites.

And even if there wasn’t – please!

      About half % difference. Seriously?

OK – sorry for the sharp tone.
Curfew (Munich, Bavaria, Germany) seems to be getting its toll…

      Hi Sanne,

Your responses don’t answer my question.

Also, please pull your head out. You have full control over your opinions, thoughts, and how you respond. There is no need to blame your environment.

Please stay safe and happy Maangchi cooking :) ,

      Read again.

“There is a conversion table on each and every of Maangchi’s recipe sites.” Metric to American and vice versa.

Happy curfew. It’s no fun not being able to meet friends (not one allowed) or even sit outside (not even alone) for a moment without being shooed away by the police.

I can’t stand or walk for an extended amount of time resulting in staying home the whole time. Nearly three weeks now.

      Hi Sanne,

Yes, I can see the conversion tool, thanks.
The proper answer to my question is US cups, and 237ml, not ‘there is a conversion table…’

To rephrase, I said ‘happy Maangchi cooking’ not happy curfew. Use video calls. The whole world is in a similar situation. Stop complaining and being passive aggressive. Look for the opportunities, video call or something :)

      Hi Doris,
My 1 cup is 240 Ml. I bought my measuring cups from IKEA when I started posting my videos and the recipes.
1 cup is 240 ML, 1 tablespoon is 15 ML, 1 teaspoon is 5 ML, based on American measuring system.
      Happy cooking!
