      Hi Maangchi. :)

      I’ve been requesting Pepper kimchi from every Korean food blogger I know of for years. NO ONE has helped me, yet. I think I also sent a request to you several years ago, too! This is my favorite kind of kimchi & it’s extremely expensive to buy where I live. I pay like $40.00 per container for it… (granted, the container weighs several pounds & lasts me a couple months…. lol) << This is a picture of what I’m talking about. I don’t know the actual Korean name. I’ve showed it to my Korean friends & they all told me “gochu kimchi” would be appropriate.. So I’m guessing that’s what it is. lol

      I would be soooooooo eternally grateful (seriously!) if you’d be so kind as to show how to make this dish some time. It’s so delicious & I’d love to be able to make it myself, instead of buying it.

      If there’s anything I can do for you to show how to make this, I will do it. I’d pay you to show how to make this. LOL :) Just name the price!

      I found this recipe on I don’t know if it is exactly what you are looking for, but it looks like it might be close. Hope it works for you. The peppers are split to let the seasonings work on the inside, but I imagine you don’t have to if you’d rather not.
