      Hi All,

      I’m muslim from malaysia, just want to know what kind of food/flavor/vinegar that can replaced mirin or wine rice. obviously i cant eat those things….

      Try fruit juice, preferably sweet-sour ones.
      I use apple juice instead of wine etc. a lot.

      I’ve successfully used honey, and agave nectar. I would think either of these, or as Sanne suggested, juice. It would really depend on the recipe you’re making.
