I recently went to a Korean festival and one of the vendors out there had a dessert called “Doo Tub”. They didn’t have it written in Korean btw.
It was a rice cake, covered in a yellowish green powder. Each rice cake was yellow, green, or red. The cake itself was very sweet and inside it had a red bean paste filling.
I really loved them and wanted to buy/make them, but whenever I look Doo Tub up nothing comes up.
The only dessert I found that resembles them is Gyeongdan. I don’t know what Gyeongdan tastes like, so I’m not 100% they were that.
Can anyone help me figure out what this dessert was?
I still never taste that.
just try searching for bean tteok, i think you will find it one day
