I tried several types, like salmon, trout, sturgeon and others. And I chose the sturgeon as the best one. What is about your preferences? What fish do you use for the soup and where do you take it from?
I like to make spicy fish soup using Cods which have white flesh.
It is called Daegutang in Korean, which is great with or without pepper powder. I saw cods at some oriental markets or fish markets around!
I guess Maanchi has a recipe for that!
Dorsz would be great.
Cod is a popular fish for Korean fish soups. You can also use Black Bass (우럭) or Flounder in a Maeuntang.
trout from the fresh water is best of all, but its difficult to get
